Rock Away Night & Day
fully-supported race in the woods of Northeast Kansas. Beautiful single-track trails: challenging but runnable. Starting/finishing at Branded B Ranch, Lake Perry, Kansas. Interlocking medals for those that also run the previous night's Half (which adds up to a 100K); and of course, finisher medals for 50-Mile. Over-the-top aid stations and volunteers, with a nice family atmosphere for kids and well-behaved dogs. Nice shirts and swag. Downloadable photos by Mile 90 Photography provided for no additional cost. Soft beverages and free micro-brewed beer provided. Chillax in air-conditioned comfort in the large grange hall, or hang out on the giant mowed lawn / camping area. Camp-out or rent a bunk. Showers available. Post race food as part of your entry fee, with an additional breakfast on Saturday, if entered in both races. 2nd annual.
