Red Dragon

The 55K course course is an out & back. From race start, go up the Red Dragon ascent, continue on South Fork American River trail through Norton's Ravine to the "Movie Set" Aid Station, then take a left on Long Valley trail, then a sharp left on Cronan Ranch Road, the a right up the connector to West Ridge trail, right on West Ridge trail, follow it all the way down to Cronan Ranch Aid Station, take the trail East, then a right on Hidden Valley Cutoff, right on South Fork American River, left to River Access, follow River Access East, right on South Fork/Down & Up trail, right on Conector trail, cross new Hastings Creek bridge, right on South Fork American River, right on Gerle trail, follow Gerle loop to Magnolia Ranch Aid Station & return exactly the way you came.
