Québec Mega Trail offers some of the most demanding trails in Canada. Crisscrossing through Charlevoix to the Côte-de-Beaupré QMT is the race that takes you to the top of the Canadian ultra trail scene. Composed of wild and spectacular trails along the banks of the majestic St. Lawrence River from Charlevoix to Mont-Sainte-Anne. This is where the greats go head-to-head, come and see why.
Departure from the magnificent town of Baie-Saint-Paul. The first portion of the route runs along the St. Lawrence River and takes the La Baie, Gabrielle Roy Est, Louise-Gasnier and Gabrielle Roy Ouest trails to Mont Ligorie. Then, the route follows almost entirely Le Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix where a new section will take runners to the majestic Cap Brûlé and then to the village of Saint-Tite-des-Caps. From this point, participants cross the Dalle Humide trail which bears witness to the era of log drivers. Joining the canyon of the Sainte-Anne River, the infamous Mestachibo trail awaits participants up to the majestic Jean-Larose Falls. This will be followed by the colossus Mont-Sainte-Anne (MSA) which will have to be climbed almost twice. The last 20 kilometers take place at the north of the mountain, following magnificent trails until returning to the south for the finish.
