For the first time Philmont Scout Ranch is opening its trails for a race that welcomes the running and scouting communities to enjoy the pristine wilderness of the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Distances will include a Tooth Ridge Sprint (8 miles), Heavy Half (18 miles), Marathon and 50 Mile through the southern section of Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. All courses will finish down the iconic Tooth of Time Ridge and through the famous "You Made It!" gate in Philmont's Base Camp.

Philmont Scout Ranch is a 140,000 acre high adventure camp owned and operated by the Boy Scouts of America with over 300 miles of trails. Philmont's main program is challenging and educating scouts ages 13 to 21 years of age through 12, 9, and 7-day backpacking treks. Crews of 8-12 additionally have the opportunity to participate in programs such as climbing, shooting, living history, fishing and much more.
