Perfect Day 50K Loudoun

8am-6pm: Run a 5K on the hour every hour for 10 hours. Individual and team options!

The Course: a 5K trail loop with a shared start/finish line. Participants must be ready at the start line at the top of every hour. Headlamp required for the last lap.

Individuals: Can you complete all ten loops?! Run all 50K for the most bragging rights of the day. Awards are based on cumulative time.Teams: Are you endurance race curious? Or trail running curious? Both? This is a welcoming event for YOU!

Teams of 2: may either alternate 5K’s or have one person do five hours in a row then the other person do the next five hours in a row. Each teammate must complete five loops.

Teams of 3: you decide how to divide up loops. Each teammate must complete at least three loops.

Timing: All loops are chip timed. Results will be based on total cumulative time.Time cutoff: participants must be able to finish each 5K loop in under 57 minutes. Anyone who does not meet the time cut off each hour will not be permitted to continue.

Basecamp: The Perfect Day 50K hangout spot & party zone! Participants will park their vehicles in the lot next to the start/finish line for refueling between loops. You’re welcome to bring tents, coolers, camping grills, and pets must be on a leash. We’ll have music playing and spectators are encouraged to bring their energy to Basecamp to support runners.FREE coffee for participants at Basecamp all day long.
