It’s not just a race; it’s a test of endurance, grit, and respect for the wild.
The Old Ephraim 200 is a point-to-point race through the Bear River Mountain Range in Northern Utah. The official distance is 215 miles with 40,000 feet of climbing. Expect dense pines and aspens, open meadows, and long stretches of quiet forested trails.
Running a 200-mile race is physically and mentally demanding. We want to make sure that all participants fully understand this. In order to run the Old Ephraim 200, you need to have successfully finished at least one mountain 100+ mile race. This can be done during the year 2026 as long as it's completed before race day. We will go through the Ultrasignup results of everyone who registers to confirm that this qualification has been met. If your finish isn't on Ultrasignup (Runsignup or another platform), please email us at [email protected] to let us know what your qualifying race is. If you haven't completed a 100+ mile race, but feel you are physically and mentally prepared, please email us at [email protected] and we'll discuss your individual case as a team.
