Leesport, PA
The Naked Bavarian is a no/low swag (ultra)trail run at Blue Marsh Lake, Leesport, PA. The idea is to create a race at a very affordable rate by omitting all the expensive goodies like expensive race shirts, flashy finisher medals or expensive rock band entertainment on the course. Not too long ago you could run an ultra for $1 per mile, but with many trail races selling out due to field limits that are much lower then road runs ( for obvious reasons) the entry fee's were going up. Some high profile ultra's will cost you a few hundred dollars. We skip all the expensive add ons and focus on what really counts, having a good course, good aidstation, good medical support and the chance to test your limits or race others.
