Can you run 4.1666666 miles in ONE hour and then continue to do it hour after hour after hour until you are the last runner standing?? It is true test of endurance, discipline, and determination!

If you have ever heard of Lazarus Lake and the Barkley Marathons, he puts on another race in Tennessee called Big Dog's Backyard Ultra. It's a highly exclusive race where there are only 75 entrants allowed in the race. This year he is opening his race to "golden ticket" winners from a few races both in North America and Internationally.  In 2019, Mountain Lakes Backyard Ultra was one of the 7 North American Races in which the 2 longest distance winners were granted a golden ticket to Laz's race on October 19, 2019.

In 2020, Mountain Lakes Backyard Ultra will be a 100% "golden ticket" to the eventual winner of the event.
