Get loopy in Coos Bay!

9 hours. 8-to-5. Almost like Dolly sang. Whether you're a local and already well-versed in the quiet community trails of Mingus Park or an out-of-towner looking for a November ultra adventure... many fun miles await. Or come do slightly fewer miles with the 2-hour option, set up with an afternoon start so we can finish together and head down the road to 7 Devils Brewery (but if you want a different 2-hour slot, that's certainly doable).

Course details

1.12 miles and about 140 feet of elevation gain per lap. Roughly 70% unpaved and 30% paved paths. The unpaved section is a mix of double-track trail and gravel road (with very light car use from park visitors). Totally doable in road shoes, even if the weather turns out bad, but that's up to you.

... so bring your own fuel to keep yourself moving, plus whatever other ultramarathon supplies you deem necessary. I'll have a big water jug for everyone to use. We will use one of the park's gazebos as our "base camp" for weather coverage, with a couple picnic benches/tables underneath.
