Loop Out the Year

Join us at Fort Steilacoom Park for the final race of the year — your last chance to crush those mileage goals and loop your way into the New Year feeling accomplished!

At Loop Out the Year, you decide your challenge: run for 3 hours, 6 hours, or 8 hours on a scenic looped course. Go as far (or as easy) as you’d like — it’s all about having fun, finding your rhythm, and finishing the year strong with a supportive running community by your side.

The course features a 5K loop utilizing the park’s beautiful trail system. Participants will run as many loops as they can within their chosen time event.

After each loop, runners will return to the start/finish/aid station to check in with a volunteer so their lap is recorded before heading back out. The course passes through the nearby parking lot, and participants are welcome to use their vehicles as their own personal aid stations. However, all runners must still check in at the official aid station after each loop to ensure their distance is counted.
