Leaky Hourglass Ultra

The Leaky Hourglass is a Last Man Standing event with a twist. Every lap you lose a minute from the cutoff. So the first hour you have 60 minutes to complete the 4.167 mile out and back. The following hour you will only have 59 minutes to do so. This will continue until there is only one person capable of completing a lap.

Course is a chip and sealed rural highway with rolling hills. Each lap will have roughly 250' of elevation. There will be one manned aid station at the start/finish and one unmanned aid station at the turn around.
Note: This is a not a closed course, meaning there will be traffic. Runners should always run facing traffic, and will be required to have a headlamp and flasher after sunset (19:46).
