Lastest Not Fastest

The Lastest Not Fastest is a last-person standing style race - in the scenic Columbia River Gorge! The course is a 4.1-mile loop on Hamilton Island, in Washington, just west of the Bonneville Dam. 

Runners depart every hour, on the hour, and have to be back to the start/finish area before 60 minutes. If you complete the loop in 40 minutes, you have another 19 minutes to rest and recovery for your next loop. If you do it in 50 minutes, you get 9 minutes to get ready to go again. If you take 60 minutes or longer, you are done. The race continues until there is just one runner left standing, er running. How long do you think you can run? 

There is an aid station at the start/finish area so you can run this race totally self-supported. Or, you can bring your besties or family to crew you. Spectators are welcome.
