Las Vegas Backcountry Trail 50K

The Las Vegas Backcountry Trail Races take place in the Rainbow Gardens ACEC (Area of Critical Environmental Concern). Rainbow Gardens ACEC contains a scenic mountain and canyon landscape similar to those found in more remote locations of southern Nevada, but unique in its close proximity to the city, allowing people a wilderness experience close to the action of Las Vegas. Taking place on mostly hard packed dirt roads with occasional loose/ rocky sections.
