Joshua Tree Traverse

ULTRARUNNERS: Have You Done This Epic Run?
Come camp & RUN the Joshua Tree Traverse with us - 37 miles across Joshua Tree National Park in one day!!

5:45am: Meet at finish line area at North Entrance Backcountry Trailhead parking lot/>Drive or take shuttle to RUN START located at Black Rock Campground in Joshua Tree National Park
7:00am: RUN START - Begin running the entire 37 mile Joshua Tree Traverse (named the Californial Riding & Hiking Trail) 

AID STATIONS: Food, water, and goodies will be provided by the Joshua Tree Traverse Mobile Aid Station at the beginning, half-way point at Juniper Flats Trailhead parking lot, and at the finish line at the North Entrance Backpacking Trailhead parking lot. Aid provided will be water, gatorade, coffee, hot cooca, electrolyte tabs and/or mix, clif bars, granola bars, PBJs, chips, crackers, & cup of noodles. Please contact me if you have other specific nutrition needs for the mobile aid station or plan to bring them yourself to leave in a drop bag in the mobile aid station.

DROP BAG: Please plan to leave any specific items you may need or want at the half way aid station and finish line in our mobile aid station in a backpack or other reasonable sized storage bag.

RESULTS: Please note that this is an unofficial self-timed event, based on honor system. Please report your total elapsed time on your running watch or device to the run director at the finish line - hours, minutes, seconds (xx:xx:xx) format; and be sure run director has your full name, age, and city & state of your current residence in order to post your results on UltraSignup correctly
