John Dick Memorial 50K

The John Dick Memorial is in remembrance of a former Club member who enjoyed ultra-marathoning. Although a smaller event, the race serves to keep the dedicated runners in shape through the winter.
The course is not determined until just prior to race day, as dictated by trail and weather conditions. We usually use the horse/snowmobile trails in the area, but may use the Ice Age trail or the Scuppernong hiking/skiing trails in low or no snow years. Whichever trail is used, the course layout will be multiple loops or out-and-back segments so that participants are never too far from aid. If you DNF, please notify the aid station and finish line personnel
