Anniston, AL
This is a loop course on the Talladega Forest roads surrounded by forest and the Pinhoti Trail. The race starts at the infamous or not so infamous “Frog Pond Overlook” which is an overlook for you guessed it…no not frogs, BIRDS. The course is comprised of maintained dirt and gravel forest roads the entire loop.
This is Alabama’s only 100k trail races. So, what’s better being the only 100k trail race? A NIGHT 100k trail race! Grab your headlamp (or Kogalla) and get ready to run from sunset to sunrise.
