HtH D2D will be run in the Northlake Nature Center in Mandeville, Louisiana. Parking and the start of the race will be in Pelican Park in Mandeville. The entrance to Pelican Park is approximately half a mile east of the Nature Center on Highway 190.
Since it's mid-summer in South Louisiana, expect hot temperatures and high humidity. The course will be a two mile loop consisting primarily of single and double track trails. There will be one fully stocked aid station at the start/finish pavilion with ice water, coke, mountain dew, ginger ale and traditional aid station food items. Gels, sports drink, etc. will also be available courtesy of GU Energy. Blister and chaffing protection products will be on hand courtesy of Trail Toes.
