Hells Dells

Welcome to Hells Dells 50k Adventure. This is a 30-ish mile adventure thru as many of the Granite Dells in Prescott as humanly possible while also creating an interconnected, rad route. This is a true “fat ass” style outing, so please read all the info about this devilish jaunt. If you want to go fast, this ain’t for you, but if you want to spend a day with friends in a pretty area, bring it.

This is a small race for locals or others understanding that the runner support is super minimal. Basically, I provide a gps of the route and some water, fruit and popsicles and my contact number if things get weird. You will have to use your gps a lot, a lot. There are so many interconnecting trails. I legit care less if you get the route dead on because in the end this is your own experience and I am just hosting this, so you can see pretty things. But the route I created contains the coolest trails and segments in the area. So if you are not well versed in using gps, this may not be the adventure for you. This race will probably take way longer than your normal 50k because of the route finding and the terrain when in the Dells. Plus, the whole point is to enjoy this unique landscape and take all the pictures. If as the event draws nearer and we can get a couple volunteers from the community, we can make this adventure a bit more standard.
