Green Monster

Danville Parks and Recreation is partnering with The Brick to bring The Green Monster 12-Hour Run back for another year! This race begins on March 23 at 8 a.m. Participants can expect a flowing ~2-mile course mixing gravel, wooded trail, and a pavement. 

This is a great introduction to ultra-running and allows participants to run as long or as short as they want without getting a Did Not Finish (DNF).

There will be one generic aid station incorporating essentials such as water, electrolyte water, cookies, M&M's, etc. This race is self-supported where your car is your aid station, too, so bring all your goodies! Restrooms are on-site. Music and food kick-off at 6 p.m.

This event is chip timed by The Brick with laps counted and a leaderboard displayed throughout the day. There will be finisher’s medals for half marathon, marathon, 50K, 50 miler, and 100K. Try to collect them all! 

Top male and female covering the most mileage will receive an awesome award from The Brick.

All registrants receive long-sleeve shirts, finisher medal(s), food, and swag.
