We are so excited for the first Great Shasta Rail trail run! This run benefits the Great Shasta rail trail to help maintain this beautiful rail trail. Preserve it for continued use and keep its rich history. To learn more about the rail trail go to https://www.greatshastarailtrail.org/. This is a relatively flat course with very nice footing. Starting in McCloud with views of Mt Shasta. This is a vacation destination! So, visit some of the amazing historic natural sights while you're here! Burney Falls, Lasson Nation Park, Subway cave, designation fly fishing, and so much more!  

The course is an out and back for all distances. Great course for a first go at the distance, or to set a new PR. It is pretty straight forward...literally. Beautiful crisp mountain air surrounded by incredible views.
