Gravel Worlds® has been hosting gravel events for over a decade! For years we’ve been asked by our Gravel Family to add a running component to our Gravel Worlds® weekend. Well, we’ve listened and in typical Gravel Worlds fashion, Go Big or Go Home!
Part of the challenge of the Land Ho 50k is the event is self-supported. Runners are required to finish the event without any form of outside support that isn’t provided by the race.
Once a runner leaves the start line, they can not take any outside support. No team vehicles or families out on the course. Water and basic nutrition will be provided at aid stations and checkpoints, but any specific nutrition needs will need to be carried by the runner.
Courses ARE NOT MARKED!! Runners are responsible for navigation. GPS files and cue cars will be provided through RideWithGPS.
