Granogue Games is growing from a Fat Ass in 2022 to a 25K & 50K trail race format in 2023. This year's course includes new single track trails & creek crossings that will delight you in the warmer month of July. Each lap of the 6.5 mile loop has 800 feet of climbing. Once we have the final course profile and distance we'll confirm the number of full laps the 25K & 50K runners need to complete. If you joined us for the 7 hour Fatass in 2022, it's a similar 'figure 8' course with each 1/2 lap being a 3+ mile loop returning you to the feed zone/plateau. This is your chance again to run these beautiful, private trails that are fan favorites of local Off-Road racers

It’s another beauty. We have crafted a roughly 6-mile, figure 8 marked loop with about 800' of elevation gain per lap, without any long sustained climbs. The course is situated on a 550 acre private Estate that is NOT open to the public except on run day. Spectacular views on high of pastureland, the Brandywine Creek, ponds, water towers, a tunnel, a greenhouse and these rolling hillsides all overlooking the Brandywine valley will make you forget about the pain. The perfect combo of twisty-turny, ups and downs with an occasional gravel road to make up some time on! A trail runners perfect day in the woods. Course could be considered somewhat technical in spots. Still, a typical trail runners course featuring sections of scattered rocks and roots, a mix of grass & gravel and new this year we've added about 1.5 miles of single track including the 'tunnel of love'!
