Fire Tower Frenzy will start and end at Mulberry Gap Adventure Basecamp located at 400 Mulberry Gap Rd, Ellijay, Ga. The course will take you on the grand tour of the Cohutta WMA located in Gilmer and Murray counties. You will summit Grassy Mountain and visit the fire tower, take a loop around Lake Conausaga, run down Bear Creek and over both Pinhoti 1 & 2 sections for a total of ~ 37 miles and 7k of climbing.
We will have aid stops along the course serving up all your favorite ultra fare (mostly every 5-7 miles) and all the climbing you could want. Generous 13 hour cutoff (21 min/mile avg) just because!
