That’s right, there is no entry fee. As such, you shouldn’t expect much in terms of support. Every runner must be completely self-sufficient. This is a fat-ass run, folks: No fees, no awards, no aid, no wimps. There are no washrooms or running water at the start/finish line. The closest washrooms I have found are at the west end of the lake at the picnic area near the marina (you pass them on the drive). Bring all the water you need (1 gallon recommended). Also remember, this is the middle of summer, so it is probably going to be hot. Bring ice.
