Course

USATF Certified & Sanctioned course/event + IAU Bronze Label 2020. Course certification number VT18004JK.

The course is a 397.63-meter all-weather, fully-lit track 6/7 lane track. 100k and 100-mile splits are also certified in both directions. There will be a turnaround every 4 hours.

Ample room to set up personal aid stations and trackside tables.

Staggered start times: the 24-hour starts at 9 AM, the 6-hour will start at 10 AM, and the 12-hour goes off at 9 PM. PLEASE NOTE the PM Start for the 12! The cooler overnight hours make the 12-hour a great opportunity to set a PR! Partial laps will be measured.

Timing

Timing provided by Mike Melton, MCM Timing

The race will be chip-timed with live timing and a lap readout available. Live web tracking will be available for family and friends. Your bib must be worn at all times for laps to be recorded.

In keeping with the long tradition of fixed-time races, the Ethan Allen 24 is "go-as-you-please." You may stop, rest, or leave the course at any time, but the clock keeps running and you must reenter the course at the same place you left it.

Photos

For 2020, we are thrilled to announce that the EA24 will be photographed by renowned sports photographer Scott Rokis!!! You may recognize Scott's work from events like the Tahoe 200, as well as his iconic runner portraits.

Aid station

Fully-stocked aid station with all the traditional favorites: electrolyte drinks and gels, sweet and salty snacks, hot food throughout the day and night, plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and local Vermont specialties. Of course, lots of maple syrup, too! We've doubled our ice capacity since last year if it's hot out there, and doubled our hot food capacity if your tummy gets a little grumbly overnight!

This is a cupless race! Please help keep things green by bringing your own bottle or cup.

Awards

All runners will receive a custom medal and EA24 microfleece jacket! Runners completing over 100 miles will receive a pewter belt buckle.
