Douglas Island Death Race

Join us for a midwinter Ultra Marathon at the Historic Treadwell Mine in Juneau, Alaska. The course will be open to participants to complete as many loops as possible between sunrise 8:45 am and sunset 3:34 pm. Participants should be prepared to run in sub freezing temperatures, icy conditions, with the possibility for significant wind-chill (Taku Winds). There are two aid stations and a warming station on course, we’ll keep the fire roaring and the cider hot.
