Cubihatcha Challenge

Revolution Running in partnership with the Cubihatcha Outdoor Education Center present the third annual Cubihatcha Challenge. This year we decided to move the race to Earth Day weekend which we feel best represents what this race and what the education center are all about. The Cubihatcha Outdoor Education Center has been very instrumental in teaching children about taking care of our planet. You will be able to choose from 1 loop (7.5 mi.), 2 loops (15 mi.) or 4 loops (50k) around the pristine Long Branch Reservoir. Cubihatcha has some of the most beautiful trails on the South side of Atlanta. The trail around the lake is a mostly flat double track that will be great for first timers or those looking to PR. The Cubihatcha Outdoor Education Center is a wetland enhancement and protection corridor created to improve and protect existing wildlife habitats, while also providing an avenue for public education and enjoyment. Proceeds from the race will benefit the youth outdoor education programs at Cubihatcha. There is no time limit on the 7.5 or 15 mile race so feel free to do as much walking as you would like, however the 50k participants must start on their 4th loop by the seventh hour.
