Cryin on the climb

This isn’t your typical trail race — it’s a test of pure grit, grit, and more grit. Runners will spend 12 hours tackling a punishing route featuring 1 mile up, 1 mile down, and 1,000 feet of vertical gain packed into every climb.

The loop is steep, rugged, and relentlessly rewarding. You’ll grind your way up the mountain, flip around at the top, and bomb back down before doing it all over again. With a single, fully-stocked aid station at the base, you’ll have everything you need to keep pushing lap after lap.

The challenge is simple to understand, but brutal to master:

How many climbs can you conquer in 12 hours?

Cryin’ on the Climb is the perfect early-season gut-check — a chance to test your fitness, find your mental edge, and start the year stronger than ever. Whether you’re here to set a PR, out-climb your friends, or just survive as many laps as possible, this race delivers one of the most uniquely demanding trail experiences in Utah.
