The Catamount Ultra Marathon starts and finishes at beautiful Trapp Family Lodge outside of Stowe VT. The 25k course is primarily wide, hard-packed dirt trail. Rolling through highland pastures and hardwood forest complete with maple sugar tap lines in place and ready for the spring "run", this course is not to be missed. Our course circumnavigates the incredibly well maintained and protected Trapp Family Lodge trail system at the foot of Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak. To complete the 50k course, runners will complete the 25k loop, two times. There is an 8 hour racer cutoff.
