The superloop of Buzzard Rock Ultras is known for being the hardest 10 mile trail loop in Moore County.
Buzzard Rock Ultras is more than just a race; it's a journey through the most scenic and demanding trails the area has to offer.
Prepare to navigate a 10 mile loop that will push you to your limits with its rolling singletrack trails, punchy climbs, and scenic views along Bear Creek. Each loop boasts ~1,000 feet of gain (3,000ft total for the 50K) a trip to the top of Buzzard Rock, and a lap around the Robbins Reservoir.
Buzzard Rock Ultras is brought to you by the same team that has presented multiple events each year through the Bear Creek Race Series and the Bear Creek Trailathon endurance challenges.
This is our first time listing on UltraSignUp, the events are priced for accessibility, and we're as homegrown as it gets... but we don't skimp. You can expect the same level of effort and excellence that you would experience at any of our other events.
As always, the course will be well marked and aid stations fully stocked.
This is YEAR ONE of a brand new event we're introducing to the race series. With that being said, you can rest assured new course records are GUARANTEED to be set this year. Who says the record holder can't be you?
