The Banana Slug Backyard Ultra is Oregon's first backyard ultra! A backyard ultra is simply a 4.1667-mile loop which must be completed in one hour. And at the end of that same hour, another loop begins. Then another, then another. There's no limit in time nor distance. Instead, this is truly a "last person standing" event where the winner (and only finisher) is the person who successfully completes a loop that no other runner is able to complete. Come to beautiful Champoeg State Park in April 2025 and enjoy some runs along the scenic Willamette River for as many hours as you can keep your legs moving.
