The course is roughly 20% trail, crushed limestone gravel and mostly asphalt, but while we advertise it as a “beginners” Ultramarathon - make NO mistake - it will NOT be a “gimme”! We definitely have a few challenges in store (rolling hills) for you! What's more, if lucky - this hidden gem of northwestern Wisconsin turns into a "Winter Wonderland" come December each year, making it a unique running experience for anyone that hasn’t tried running in the cold winter months!
