American Zofingen

This epic race with three distances is held in the Shawangunk Mountains with running on single track and carriage trails through the woods. 

This trail run will consist of multiple loops of the same 5 mile run course as the duathlon. Each participant will have 6 hours to run as many loops as possible. Top 3 men and top 3 women receive awards. This event will have a separate transition area for gear and support. I think this course with a mixture of single track, rock trails, creeks, planks and carriage trails will provide an excellent race for those experienced and those that are new to trail running. 

It is the long term plan to grow the trail run so that it is a stand alone event on Saturday and more runners can participate.
