AlfaDog 40 mile + 25K

The name AlfaDog is inspired by Pretty Prairie's most famous resident ever, Carl Switzer -- aka 'Alfalfa' in Our Gang/the original Little Rascals -- not to mention the occasional alfalfa field in 'the Prairie'. Couple that with the local PPHS mascot, the Bulldogs, and bingo -- you've got our cool sounding name, AlfaDog. Fitting name for an ultra, right? 

Purpose: To offer a fairly priced ultra (with shorter distance option) and bring runners together to help facilitate community improvement projects around town in Pretty Prairie. 

Course: 40 mile: Short out-and-back on Main Street before embarking on three 13.1 mile loops.
