Mathieu Blanchard
Mathieu Blanchard comes in at number five for the men. Blanchard also executed a strong Western States/UTMB double, finishing in seventh place at Western States and fourth at UTMB. He also finished third at the Marathon des Sables stage race in Morocco. An engineer by training, he is now director of a company that specializes in preventing running-related injuries. Blanchard was born in France, grew up on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe and now lives in Montreal and Les Deux Alpes, France. He became a Canadian citizen in 2023. – John Medinger. Leah Yingling
Leah Yingling is the fifth-ranked female for 2023. Yingling was top 10 at both Western States and UTMB, executing a solid double that most fail to achieve. She also won the venerable Bull Run Run 50 in Virginia. Yingling works as a biomedical engineer for a medical device company.
