Alexandria, LA
This self supporting event features an aid table every 4-5 miles and is the longest continguous trail in Louisiana running through the picturesque Kistachie National Forest. It suits primarily the intermediate to advance level of trail runner/biker.
The Wild Azalea is a well-maintained and mapped trail system, so navigation will be quite easy and reasonable. The trail includes visible 1/2 mile markers.
There are 5 participant classes: 6,13, 27 or 50 Mile Ultra Individual; 27 or 50 Mile Mountain Bike. All Mountain Bike will go off approximately 30 minutes before runners.
