Lake Elsinore, CA

This beautiful and challenging single-track trail is located in the Trabuco District and is easily-accessible from Orange and Riverside Counties. Be prepared for a very strenuous run as extreme exposure and tough climbing through switchbacks for the first several miles means this trail is not for beginners. However, you'll be rewarded with the most spectacular views as you climb and descend, making the effort well worth it!

The race begins at the San Juan Trail head starting at the San Juan Trail parking area off of Ortega Highway, Lake Elsinore, California and ascends to Blue Jay campground, where you will turn around and head back down. You'll even get to pass by the famous, "Cocktail Rock!"

The 30K will ascend/descend once. The 60K will ascend/descend twice. 30K has approximately 3,500 feet of vertical gain. The 60K has approximately 7,000 feet of vertical gain. Each distance has a 10-hour cutoff.
