Old Forge (NY) Ultra Marathon 50K

Old Forge Marathon Weekend includes multiple distance events including a USATF Certified Marathon and an Ultra Marathon 50K.

Old Forge, NY is well visited town in the southeastern portion of the Adirondacks. This will be year #9 for the overall event and the 3rd year for the Old Forge Ultra 50K.

Most of the Ultra Marathon course is run on the packed dirt trails that in the winter months are used for snowmobiling. The Ultra marathoners will run with both the full and half marathon participants for the first 8.5 miles and then with the full marathon runners up until mile 25. There will be plenty of water/hydration stops along the way with a minimum of 12 stops.
