Birmingham, AL

The course will incorporate freshly blazed and beautiful single track trails of red iron ore, weaving through this transformed historic mining park; a challenge for both the new and gnarly trail runner alike!

As always a portion of your entry fee will be donated back to the park! BUTS values the Birmingham area trails, and we hope you do too. One of our purposes is to help maintain, upkeep, and create new trails so you and your loved ones may enjoy them. Red Mountain Park has been a wonderful addition to our park family! They are assiduous collaborators, and we want to honor and support the park's future goals.

The course has a variety of single track, a little power line trail at the start, and beautiful rail bed trails that are flat and fast. Including the Start/Finish there will be 3 fully supplied and manned aid stations along the 13.5 mile route with 2 water only stops. The 27 Mile course is two loops of the 13.5 mile course.
