In this week’s Ultra Weekend Recap, we check on ultramarathon results from Nevada, West Virginia, California and Ohio. Let’s see what went down.
Jackpot Ultra Running Festival
We kick things off in Henderson, Nevada, at the Jackpot Ultra Running Festival, a three-day running event just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. This year’s set list included the 2025 USATF 100-Mile Road Championship, as well as 48-hour, 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour, 100-mile, 100k and 50-mile races. In Friday’s USATF 100-Mile Road Championship, runners rolled the dice to see if their fitness could hold up for 85 laps around a 1.17-mile course. In the men’s contest, Rajpaul Pannu defended his 2024 crown and took the win in 11:52:46, over 5 minutes faster than his course record time last year. Jian Springer took the women’s title and placed fourth overall in 15:29:05.
*Update: Per USATF competition rules, Rajpaul Pannu was disqualified from the USATF 100-Mile Road Championship because the shoes he competed in exceeded the maximum allowable stack height. Cody Poskin (13:26) is now the official men’s 2025 USATF 100-Mile Road Champion.

According to the official results, it looks like Holly Pfaff won the Jackpot 6 Hour, with an outright win and 41.6 miles.
Thanks for pointing this out. I updated the results.
Carrell Jackson was not the winner of the 100M Short Course. At one time he was shown as the first place male finisher in the UltraSignup results because when results were initially uploaded to UltraSIgnup, people who had dropped or failed to finish the full 100 miles were not moved into the DNF category. Therefore their clock times at the end of whatever the last lap they had completed were listed as 100M finish times. This disrupted the correct order of finish. It appears this has now been corrected on UltraSignup..
Updated! Thank you for pointing this out.
